About Dr. Sherry Chang
Dr. Sherry Chang is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Board Certified Herbalist. She has a Masters of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She is also a nationally certified Diplomate of Oriental Medicine.
Dr. Chang has completed clinical training at the Fortune Society, Kamwo Herbal Pharmacy, and the Beth Israel VA Hospital pain management center. She also trained at the Kun Ming Branch Chinese Medicine Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan for a year, where she focused on dermatology, women’s health, gastrointestinal health, musculoskeletal pain management, and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Additionally, she has studied various acupuncture styles, including trigger point acupuncture, neuropuncture, and distal needling acupuncture.
Dr. Chang believes that Chinese Medicine can treat the whole person rather than just the symptoms, which can help prevent disease recurrence and discourage new illnesses. She understands that acupuncture can be a new experience for many patients and works to educate them while using a gentle and respectful approach.
